Old Testament Quiet Book

I just had to share this fun little quiet book I made using my LDS Coloring Book app for iPhone and Pixlr.

This whole thing came about because I wanted to find a quiet app that the kids could use at church.  I came across this free LDS Coloring Book app:

I had tried a couple of other apps, but none of them were quite what I wanted.  This one comes with a free coloring book for Old Testament.  When I saw it I knew I wanted to make a quiet book so the kids could learn their Bible stories.  This is what I did.  I downloaded the LDS Coloring Book app (remember it's free!).  I went to the Old Testament coloring pages. Here is the David and Goliath coloring page:

I then colored it in with the crayons.  There's a pretty good selection to choose from and it fills in the colors for you where you click.  Nice and easy!

Here's my David and Goliath all colored.  I emailed the picture to myself.  Then, I went to pixlr and added a title on the page.

Now my kids will know who the picture is of.  I printed the pictures off and stuck them in the kids' quiet book.

Here are some of the pictures in the quiet book.  Pretty fun.  There are 12 pictures in the Old Testament Coloring book.  There are also Book of Mormon, New Testament, Church History, Articles of Faith, and tons more for $.99 each.  I bought 5 of them!  I figure 6 cute,  customized quiet books for around $10.00, not to mention a free app that they can color over and over again was a great deal!

All of you iPhone owners ought to grab the LDS Coloring Book app.
