We had a wonderful summer as we welcomed a new member to our family. Yes, that's right...my brother-in-law got married! My kids adore their new auntie.
Weddings always end up forcing me to pull out my sewing machine. I am not a confident seamstress. It takes me hours of work and usually lots of seam ripping to finish a project. I have no patience. However, I am usually pretty happy with the way things turn out. I used a pattern I had on hand for the girls' dresses, but I had no idea how to make a bow tie for Bud.
Thank you Pinterest! I would be lost without you.
I found a super easy bow tie tutorial from Kiki and Company. It was seriously simple! The first bow tie I made was a little bit too big, (okay, it was more like something a clown would wear), but after a few alterations I had a tie that I was happy with.
Bud loved his new bow tie. He didn't want to take it off.
The tutorial I used required minimum sewing, but if you would like to avoid sewing altogether you can try this bow tie tutorial. All you need is a glue gun!
Here are all of my little munchkins looking snazzy in their new clothes. They were so excited to get all dressed up to go to the Manti Temple.
A perfect day with my sweet little family.
