Charlie Brown and Thanksgiving go hand-in-hand. (Actually, I like watching Charlie Brown on ANY holiday.) Bud is especially into Snoopy. He laughs his head off when Snoopy is chasing the lawn chair. The day before Thanksgiving I decided to have a nice, laid-back Charlie Brown Thanksgiving dinner with my family.
Here's the set-up (complete with Snoopy). We ate the same foods that Charlie Brown ate with his friends in the movie: popcorn, toast, pretzels, ice cream, and jelly beans. I also made little pilgrim hats for all of us to wear to dinner.
Bud enjoyed everything about this meal. What kid wouldn't?! As an adult, it definitely makes you appreciate a REAL Thanksgiving dinner.
Princess looking cute and Pilgrim-y. I found directions to make the girl pilgrim hats HERE.
Snoopy approves.

This is awesome Kristen! Sometimes a simple, and not "well balanced" meal is needed.
ReplyDeleteI agree. A little junk food never hurt anybody.
