Balloon Paddle Ball

I am always on the lookout for fun things to do with my kids, especially when the snow hits and the kids are dying to get out some energy.  I came across a balloon paddle ball game on Pinterest that looked like a lot of fun.  Unfortunately, the link that I pinned takes you to a website that is inappropriate or spam.  Luckily, all you need is the picture.  This is the link to my "Pinned with Purpose" pins on Pinterest.  You can see a picture of the paddle ball balloon game there.

The set up is simple enough.  All you need are some paper plates, popsicle sticks, and a balloon.  I didn't have the big popsicle sticks, so I had to tape a couple of small popsicle sticks together for the handle.  It still worked just fine.

Princess was so excited to have a new game to play (not to mention the balloon was pink!).

Even though Goofy was too young for the game, she enjoyed being included and given a paddle of her own.

Princess bumping the balloon.  She didn't understand the concept of playing against someone else yet.  I'm sure that when I try this game with her when she's older she will enjoy having an opponent.  For now, working on her motor skills by hitting the balloon was good enough for me.  This game was definitely a keeper.
