I challenged myself to do the dishes before bed each night and to completely finish one load of laundry. I was not perfect. Who is really? I only completed each of those challenges 3 nights out of the week. But let me tell you, when I woke up the next morning and didn't have to stress about doing the dishes before the preschoolers came I knew that it was worth the effort. It was nice to have a clean bedroom floor too.
Next week I will be focusing on the same habits that I tried to form this week. I don't want to move on until I am perfect at each of the habits for at least a week. I'm sure it will take me longer than the 5 weeks I originally planned to do this challenge. Oh well. I am an imperfect person. These things take time. I know that it will be worth it in the long run.
