Pom-Pom Patterns

Summer is here!  The kids may be out of school, but that doesn't mean I stop teaching.  Goofy really needs to work on learning her colors.

Goofy is a hands-on learner, so I made these cute color sheets:

I made mine with my Cricut machine, but I made a basic pom-pom sheet for you below.  (Simply print it, color it to match your pom-poms, and let your kids make patterns).

When Goofy picked up a pom-pom I would ask her what color it was.  We talked about things that were the same color: bananas = yellow, apples = red, grass = green, etc.

I talked about primary, complimentary, warm, and cool colors with Princess.

She had lots of fun matching the pom-poms to the different patterns.  I also left a space where she could create her own patterns.  We talked about AB, ABC, and AABB patterns.

The kids had lots of fun.  You could also use these with any preschool lesson.  Check out my Color Lesson here!

Here is your printable:

Happy summer!
