If you're like me, I have to steer clear of the Halloween candy aisles all throughout the month of October. I have no self control. All of that chocolate on sale...dangerous! I love making Halloween treats with my kids. This year we decided to make ice cream jack-o-lantern faces.
Each of my kids got a scoop of orange ice cream. I then gave each of my kids a handful of chocolate chips and let them go to town making faces and designs in their ice cream. Such a simple treat, but the kids loved it!
For fun, I thought I'd share some of the faces my kids make when it's time to carve jack-o-lanterns. We have "utter disgust" brought to you by Goofy. Princess is making "sheer nastiness."
Bud's face says, "Gross! Gross! Gross!" Don't worry, they all got past the initial disgust at the slimy pumpkin insides.
Did you get it right?
Let your kids make some ice cream jack-o-lantern faces of their own. They will "eat it up!"
