One thing I have learned from Pinterest is that everything is more fun when it glows in the dark. Balloons are no exception. I used Martha Stewart's site for glowing balloon inspiration. I blew up a balloon, cracked a glow stick and put it in the balloon, and drew a face on the balloon. In the light it looked like this:
Princess loved her balloon and was sad when I had to pop it. We will definitely be doing this activity again.
