Mummy Dogs and Candy Corns

As Halloween nears I get more and more excited.  One of my absolute favorite things to do is make tasty Halloween treats.  This week I have planned to make something new to eat ever day.  It can be a snack, a meal, a dessert...whatever I want.

On Monday I found the pin for Mummy Dogs and I just had to try them out.

They are just hot dogs wrapped in crescent roll dough.  You can add cheese as well if you want, but I'm a simple gal so I didn't.  Bake them at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, but two dots of ketchup, mustard, or squeeze cheese for eyes, and enjoy.

Aren't they so cute?  They were super tasty.

Princess had a blast helping me wrap the mummies before they went in the oven.  She was so proud of how they turned out.

For dessert I made the Candy Corns found on this site.  I put pineapple chunks in the bottom of a clear cup, added mandarin oranges, and topped it off with whipped cream.  It was delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness for dessert.

Mmm!  Fruit is God's natural dessert I swear.

I hope you go try out some of these spooky treats.  Your kids will love them and you'll love how easy they are to make.

Try out some of these other fun Halloween treats:
Pumpkin Quesadillas
Pumpkin Pancakes with Black Cinnamon Syrup
