Grinch Feast

*For more movie-themed fun check out my website: http://funfilledflicks.com/

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is one of my very favorite Christmas stories/movies.  So when I came across this post for a Grinch Feast I knew I had to have one with my family.  We invited some family over to enjoy the feast with us.

First we did some "Who Hair."  The girls loved that.

Getting ready to have lots of Grinch-y fun.

Goofy's Who Hair.

Another shot of the Who Hair.  (That poinsettia was huge!)

Next we made some Grinch Punch (1 box of lime sherbet ice cream and a 2 liter lemon-lime Shasta).

Helping make the punch.

It would probably be a good idea to let the sherbet melt a little first.  It took a little while to cut it all up.

We put out the feast and got ready to fatten ourselves up Who-style.

We had Who-Hash (hash browns), Roast Beast (we had a rotisserie chicken from Walmart so it would look like the roast beast on the movie), and Who Pudding.  I just made 2 boxes of vanilla pudding and put red and green M&M's on top.  However, if you have the time you should try the official Who-Pudding from the Dr. Suess website.

After a delicious dinner we watched the 1966 version of The Grinch (my favorite by far).

Here are some ideas for other activities you can do with your kids:
1. Do your own Who-Hairstyles.
2. Make jing-tinglers to tie onto your heels and dance with.  (Make anklets with jingle-bells and beads.)
3. Make your own Who-Instruments and make Noise, Noise, Noise!
4. Decorate your house/tree just like the Whos do in the movie.

What other activities will you come up with?  Leave me a comment and let me know.

I also hung up a few Grinch printables I found online.  Check them out here:
