Glowing Valentines

It was time for Princess to make some Valentines for her preschool friends.  We started by stamping paper using a toilet paper roll.  We made them heart shaped and dipped them in glow-in-the-dark paint.

Dip, dip, dip!

Having so much fun.

Silly Princess.

Our pretty pictures.

Here is one of the papers in the dark with the black light.  (They do glow after being under normal light too, but we love the black light around here.)

On to tracing hearts.  This is great fine motor skill practice for preschoolers.

Then cut, cut, cut.

Princess' cutting skills got better as she went.

I wrote a little saying, cut an opening for the glow stick, and there you have it.

They were a hit with Princess' friends.
