I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I know we did. My hubby and I celebrated our Valentine's a day early. He sent me these lovely flowers. They smell heavenly!
That night we went out shopping together. He got new shoes and I got some new games for us to try. It was a nice, relaxing night with my sweetie.
That night I cut out hearts and put them in a trail leading from the kids' room. I put the "Follow My Heart" sign on the floor right in their doorway.
Here is what they saw.
The hearts went down the hallway...
Down the stairs...
Through the entryway...
Into the kitchen...
And ended at the kitchen table.
I left Valentine's for everyone at their spots.
This was for Bud.
Hubby's valentine.
This is what I gave each of the girls.
The extra candies were put in a display by a new book. Let the fun begin.
Necklaces!
Silly lip whistles.
Goofy was mostly interested in the candy.
Bud loved his monkey.
Mmm! Monkey. They had a great morning.
Princess went to preschool and gave out her glowing valentines to her friends.
Then, Princess and I went to Hubby's work, broke into his car, and decorated it.
We left some little presents around in the balloons for him to find.
The backseat of the car.
Finally, the trunk. The little sticky note said, "You make my heart soar." I thought about putting helium filled balloons in the trunk as well, but I knew Hubby wouldn't get home until late and wouldn't be able to see them very well.
Later that night we made smoothies with dinner for the kids to drink in their new cups.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We hope you showed the people in your life how much you love them.
