Patriotic Strawberries

There are two things in this world that I crave: strawberries and chocolate.  I have seen these cute chocolate-dipped strawberries all over Pinterest and I knew I needed to try my hand at them.  

I took 1/2 a bag of white chocolate chips.  Melted them in the microwave for 30 seconds, and then in 15 second intervals, stirring between each, until they were melted.  I dipped my washed strawberries in the chocolate.  Then, I dipped the chocolate covered strawberries into a bowl full of blue sprinkles.  They hardened quickly.

We Dastrups were in strawberry heaven!

You will need to work quickly if you use white chocolate because it hardens fast.  Chocolate candy melts might be a better way to go, but I used what I had on hand.
