I hope you have all been having a wonderful summer. My girls have started their first ballet classes. They love it all - the leotards, hair buns, dance shoes, and learning the different moves. Their class has been on break for the 4th of July, so I finally have time to blog. Yay! I have missed you all.
We love cheap, simple decorations around here. This year my kids helped me make a red, white, and blue paper chain to hang from the windows. They picked out the paper and we cut them into strips.
Bud loved handing me pieces of paper to staple together.
The chain is coming together.
All done! There is no pattern to it. I simply stapled whatever piece of paper they handed me.
Here it is in all it's glory hanging from the living room window. We made another for the kitchen window.
How do you decorate for the 4th of July?
