There are two kinds of people in this world: the people who can't wait for autumn when the candy corns come out, and those who avoid candy corn like the plague. I bought a bag of every different kind of candy corn at the store (so you can probably guess which kind of person I am). Did you know they have s'more, caramel apple, peanut butter, and apple pie candy corn? They are all pretty good, but I'm a fan of the original.
What better way to share my love of candy corn than by making candy corn-themed crafts?! All of the following crafts are simple, inexpensive, and easy for kids to do. If you need more holiday ideas check out my list of over 100 kid crafts.

#2. Pom-Pom Painted Candy Corn
- Pom-poms (3)
- A clothespin
- Paint (orange, white, and yellow)
- Black paper
- A white crayon
- A paper plate
Directions: Using the crayon, draw the outline of a candy corn on the black paper. Pour out a small amount of each color onto the paper plate. Pinch a pom-pom in the clothespin. This will be your paintbrush. Let your child paint each section of the candy corn with the pom-pom paintbrush. Allow to dry and display.
#3. Paper Plate Candy Corn Banner
- 2 paper plates
- Paint (orange and yellow)
- A paintbrush/foam brush
- String/yarn
- Scissors
- Tape
Directions: Squirt a small amount of paint onto one of the paper plates. Using your brush, paint the outer rim of the other paper plate with yellow paint. Next, paint the orange middle section. Leave the very center of the paper plate white. Allow to dry. Once dried, cut the paper plate like a pie into 6-8 pieces. Tape the candy corn onto a piece of string and hang up your new candy corn banner.
