Day 6 - Good Friday
The table was set up with a picture of Peter betraying Christ, a picture of Jesus on the cross along with the Easter Printable, some popsicle sticks, and pictures of Jesus.
We read about Good Friday.
We talked about how Jesus was beaten and put on the cross. I asked the kids to think about how it would make them feel to see Jesus die.
Goofy kept pointing to the picture of Jesus.
We talked a little bit about the whip and how painful it must have been to be beaten.
Then, we made crosses out of popsicle sticks and put a picture of Jesus on our crosses.
Jesus condemned by Pilate.
Jesus scourged and crucified. (We didn't watch these videos with the kids this time. I think it would be too startling for them. When they are older we will.)
