We have had a wonderful Easter week as we celebrated Christ's life as a family. It has been the most meaningful Easter I've had in a long time. As I set up the display tables and activities for the kids I found my thoughts turning to the Savior more often. The Easter bunny took the back burner this year.
Day 8 - Easter Sunday
Together we read the card for Easter Sunday. (Print off your own set of free Easter Cards here.)
When the kids came downstairs for Easter Sunday they found the tombs they made on Saturday empty. Their pictures of Jesus were gone. They found the pictures of Jesus taped to their chairs at the kitchen table. We talked about Jesus being resurrected and what that means to us. I explained that the pictures of Jesus on their chairs are to help remind them that Jesus is watching us and we should always keep Him close to our hearts.
